I don’t know why but i’m really against credit cards.

Not just credit cards, but the whole loans, overdraft thingy. Like a girl I know has a student overdraft that she lives in. Literally like £900 overdrawn until her student loan goes in and then goes over by £900 again. And the money she does spend is on crap. She literally spent like £200 on a night out last week. Why? What happens when you finish uni and you havn’t got the next student load coming in? Why can’t you just spend the money you’ve got? Why do you need to borrow just to end up having to usually pay back more than you borrowed. The only thing I would ever even consider getting a loan for is a mortgage for a house  but there is people my age that have like £5000 loans because they wanted a holiday or a new car. Even for my insurance I refuse to pay monthly as I’d end up paying nearly twice as much. I save up all year to pay for my insurance. When I say I can’t afford to go out drinking or to butlins with the girls from college they seem genuinely confused and ask where all my money goes. It goes in my savings. If I didn’t want a baby, or get married or buy a house in the next couple of years then I could afford it, but i’d rather think about my future than a vodka and coke.
